DEADLINE: April 30, 2012
WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
ICCAD workshops are events focused on timely and/or emerging topics of interest to the EDA community that provide an opportunity for in-depth exchange of research ideas in an informal environment. To encourage discussion and dissemination of the latest research developments, early-stage work, and/or possibly controversial results, workshops do not typically have a published proceedings.
The ideal workshop proposal will contain:
- The topic and/or title of the proposed workshop
- A list of proposed organizers and their contact information
- Target workshop attendance
- Format and time requirements
Typical workshops are one-day events on the Thursday of ICCAD but other formats can be discussed.
A one-paragraph explanation of why the proposed topic is timely and suitable for inclusion in the ICCAD extended program.
To reduce the administrative burden associated with workshop organization, ICCAD provides considerable logistical and organizational support for workshops (registration, lunch, room bookings, hotel, pre-conference financials) leaving the organizers free to concentrate on the technical program aspects.
